Charity Crop 11th May

Things are moving along quickly now for the Charity crop in aid of The COB Foundation.

We have lovely ladies travelling from a far to join us and so there are only a handful of places left.

I'm also pleased to announce that Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn will be the shop on the day. This is excellent news for crafters as their shop is filled with wonderful goodies!

Announcement: Charity Crop

Hey Everyone!
It's been a while since we posted up here.

Following on the success of previous years we will be running a crop in aid of charity again this year.

The crop will be held at Shelly Farm Community Centre, Solihull which is a great venue.

There will be a fabulous paper crafting kit, 2 classes and some fun and games along the way. You will enjoy refreshments all day as well as a great buffet lunch. All this and more for just £40 with all proceeds going to the Cystitis and Overactive Bladder Foundation.

We'll be announcing more information and booking details in due course, but for now, save the date!

May crop class

Hi everyone,

The class for the next crop is these two tags:

Both tags are made using distress stains in different ways (the above two use the same colours but look totally different in real life).  The butterflies are made using Clearly For Art which is a moldable piece of plastic (great fun!).

The class will be £4 for both tags - if you could prebook that would be great as I will need to prepare the diecuts in advance.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Our next crop will be on Sunday 13th January in Monkspath.

The class is based on a Pagemaps sketch and features the lovely Winter Wonderland papers by My Minds Eye:

apologies for the poor picture quality (blame the dreary weather!) - the layout looks a lot better in real life! 

For the layout you will need two 6"x4" portait pictures and up to seven 3"x3" photos (I have only used three on my layout and filled the rest of the spaces with patterned paper).

Cost of the class is £5.

Brick Wall card

Monday 22^nd October 2012

2 hour workshop – 10.00 – 12.00

Cost £10

This delightful card will be a pleasure to send and receive.  To create the background you will be using an embossing folder and distress inks.  The door is also made from a die, inked and then adorned with a T!m Holtz metal wreath from his NOEL embellishment set.  The door can then be opened to reveal a wonderful homely scene inside – on this card I have used a Christmas Tree from T!m Holtz’s new set of Christmas stamps.

Snowflake tag

Monday 5^th November 2012

2 hour workshop – 10.00 – 12.00

Cost £10

This wonderful tag uses a variety of techniques including embossing, paper folding, stamping and inking.  You will be creating the background using a marbled stains effect and making a matching ribbon to tie on the top of the tag.  To finish the tag off beautifully you will be supplied with two metal embellishments from T!m Holtz Christmas collections and also get to construct two snowflakes using his new 3D snowflake die from sizzix.

Sewing Cake Stand

Monday 19^th November 2012

2 hour workshop – 10.00 – 12.00

Cost £15

This adorable cake stand will make a lovely feature in any room.  Made up from Wendy Vecchi Art Parts and grungepaper, you will have a great morning colouring card and fabric and building up your cake stand. 

The piece is wonderfully finished off with a gorgeous Wendy Vecchi sewing machine embellishment:
